NHD Essay:Introduction

During the Civil War the Union needed a weapon that could rapidly fire , the Gatling gun was their answer. The Gatling Gun was created by Dr. Richard Jordan Gatling in 1861. It is said to be created to bring an end to war. However it did the opposite , it made war even more deadlier. In this essay I will be disscussing the following things; effects on the American Civil War, change this innovation made in history , and how it revolutionized war.
