Reaction To Obama Speech

My reaction to the Obama's speech to american students was a positive one. I felt his points were strong , such as everyone has struggles in their lives and some people overcome them problems because they focous and work as hard as possiable in school and in live. He being a son of a single mother , actually knows the challenges of struggling and not beingable to get everything he wanted. He also states he didn't always have the best grades.
I did feel that his quote " If you drop-out your not just giving up on yourself , your giving up on your country" was harsh but a relastic truth from President Obama and that this may or may not help push american students to get an education but I personaly agree with him on this comment. I've heard people site this quote as unfair , that kids should not feel that weight on there shoulders , but I feel that's a good thing . Some kids don't have parents or anyother adults pushing them to graduate highschool and to get a post secondary education , that they need some weight to push them to accomplish these things.
All in all I feel his speech was and will be effective.
